ARTIST | POET
Pat Leach’s paintings are a living testament to the healing and restorative power of art. Created as part of his 27-year addiction recovery since 1995, his thousands of paintings were never intended to be shown or sold. They were private possessions in his home until his April 2022 diagnosis of glioblastoma — an aggressive and incurable form of brain cancer. Pat passed away on July 16, 2022.
Each painting represents a tangible moment from his decades of recovery and sobriety. Many have personal notes of inspiration and dedications on the back.
Knowing he was facing death, Pat decided that sharing his healing with the world was a part of his larger purpose. In the hope that each painting comes alive as it finds a new home, we’ve gathered a selection of his paintings and are making them available for individual sale, gallery representation, and charitable donations.
We are proud to partner with The Alano Club of Portland, which provides a welcoming, compassionate and accessible recovery support environment for individuals and families recovering from alcoholism, drug addiction and other addictive disorders. Fifty percent of all sales go directly to Alano Club.
